A Life Remembered

A Life Remembered Demetrius Larry Kidd, affectionately known as “D,” was born on June 26, 1979, in Chicago, Illinois, to Susie B. Kidd and Prentice Kidd Sr. His father preceded him in death.

Demetrius accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Church of God in Christ in Forest Park, Illinois. He attended Carl Schurz High School, graduating in 1997.

A dedicated worker, Demetrius worked as a concierge and in security at the Sheridan Hotel for 21 years. He will also be remembered for his love of wrestling, appreciation of gourmet meals, and a wonderful sense of humor. He loved to laugh, tell jokes, and make the people around him smile.

Above all, Demetrius valued his family. His warmth, laughter, and the memories he created with those he loved will remain a lasting part of his legacy.
